Daredevil The Series

When I heard the announcement of a new daredevil series, I was like No its not going to be nice. However when I finally watched it am telling a different tale.

The series talks about a young lawyer who fights crimes both by day as an honest law abiding citizen and by night as a masked vigilante known as the daredevil. It somehow ironic to see that a blindman fights crimes in a state of disability. You might think that at first but he’s not really blind in the way you and I thinks but sees even clearer and understands human anatomy and his physical environment better than you and I. Charlie Cox who plays our hero Murdoch whom has superhuman powers of sound and great agility due to his mentor who coached him during his earlier stages of  blind-ness our hero grows up to become a crime fighting badass who’s sole purpose is to save his city of Hell’s kitchen from villain such as the Kingpin.

Murdoch’s strength, friendship, love and trust will be put to the test against all odds but his ability to always be one step of his enemy might be a charm that might save him from destruction. Available on Netflix full episode got me wondering that Netflix does make amazing shows despite it being part of the MCU, because during the shows you are going to be hearing references of Thor, and iron man.

Ant Man the Movie

To start off, this movie in its very own style kind of differ from the rest of the Marvel cinematic universe. I say this because, the way the storyline took place shows a different side of the Ant Man story.

Anyway the movie starts off with Hank Pym after being the ant man is now looking for a protégé which I think they skipped the entire storyline to go to the main event. Which is nice no doubt, but they gave synopsis of what Ant man was and how he helped shaped the Cold war. You might think this is a little bit vague but the story gets interesting as it goes, Paul Rudd plays our hero Ant man who is a little bit on the wrong side of the law, however with Michael Douglas (hank Pym) guidance, our hero is to become something great.2014

One of the fascinating thing I loved about the movie is how they combine the entire MCU characters to explain how the story intertwine and to tell the audience that there is something bigger going to happen. In the movie, Ant man breaks into the Avengers HQ to steal a piece of technology and was confronted by Falcon who took a pretty bad beating considering he is an Avenger. In all, its a lovely movie and one of my favorites this year.

Metal Gear Solid V

The new anticipated  MGS V game has proved to be an essential part of a lively new concept of Kojima Games. I still haven’t played the new MGS V but theta doesn’t stop me from viewing a YouTube video. The gameplay experience relives the entire concepts of espionage and rudimentary snags that drives the military conquest which we all hope to do. One thing I noticed in the game would be that there is a whole new supernatural characters which I will yet to discover.

They will in turn drive the future gameplay I sort out to see. the story line begins where Ground Zero left out and just continues from there 10years later with Naked Snake a.k.a. Big Boss as having a great recovery only to be assassinated by an unknown military outfits.

The story line seems vast with a lot of plots and enigmas to it, but the control styles and cut screens are one of my favorite part of metal gear. This whole journey into saving the world from an unknown threat and ends up not getting credit for it downplays our character, how ever the light of the whole matter goes that he will save the day. I will try to play the game and get more reviews here but in the mean time. It is an awesome game.

Do you know how long i have been waiting to watch this movie and finally i got to watch yesterday. WOW it was an awesome movie beside Chris Pratt behaving like a total Bad Ass which he was in the movie. You have to love the twist the directors actually took in this sequel.

Compared to the Jurassic Park era, this is quite different, new Dinosaurs are present with modified versions of them. In the world when things have been modified definitely there has to be problems involved.

Jurassic World takes us back millions of years in evolution for the Dinosaurs and the present time in the world, where by governments have actually allowed Billionaires to experiment on ancient creatures. In the movie the man who owns Jurassic World is the 8th richest man in the World who has businesses in Oil & Gas , Telecommunication and so forth. makes you wonder if this is not even going now in the real world that we live in.

In all, the movie had exciting part, i would want to spoil so much for you but to tell you that it took almost 2 hours of my time, talking about dinosaurs and the technology they used in creating them and how almost 20 thousand peoples lives were in danger and all they could do is watch and talk about policies.

In the end you get to see what you paid for, which is dinosaurs fighting dinosaurs in the movie they created a new breed crossover between a Raptor + tyrannosaurus Rex = Indominus Rex. very clever in the name they use but they should have taught about it, after all in the prequel Raptors were the smart dinosaurs there and they pretty much wanted to eat everyone. Ty simpkins the little kid, you might remember him from IRON MAN 3 has the same old funny gestures and made the movie a little bit funny with him nonchalant attitude towards danger, Nice movie, good scene of humor with terrible line but fun to watch in a way family kind of scary movie.

Race in America

The recent outbursts by Donald Sterling show a  dark side in America’s race relations. His was a case of a bomb waiting to explode – a known racist for many years, he took charge of the clippers in 1981 at the cost of 12.5 million dollars, today the Clippers some say is worth over 600 million dollars, a good investment we would agree.

Now the comments he made to his girlfriend (she herself half black and ex now) about black people however offensive were done in private, according to Donald himself in a letter he wrote, to the NBA, he says  ” it was the rant of a jealous lover”- well it has been made public by no other than his girlfriend herself.

President obama in a press conference in kuala Lumpur when asked about the comments said “When ignorant people talk you just got to let them speak ” .

The NBA after his outburst  proceeded to issue what has now become the most severe punishment ever on an NBA owner – A life ban and a record fine of 2.5 million  dollars ( a paltry sum for a billionaire). Sterling himself appeared on CNN  talking to apologizing saying he was sorry he had used those words.

Well we can take his apology and move on and pretend all is well, or we can take a deeper look into the American society to begin to understand that race in America goes beyond the rantings of an ignorant man, it is deeply entrenched with the  scar of slavery , immigration and the feeling by some quarters that The United states should remain white, not just politically but also economically- This belief sometimes openly supported by neo nazi groups , militias and  covertly by some politicians in Washington.

Although the election of Barrack Obama as president did bring down some barriers, but not all of it , racism is still an every day occurrence for many minorities in America today

The vibe of this song just gets to you, its not a rap song to say but it just have that RnB feeling that makes you just fall in love with the song.

August gives it his all in this refined song collaboration with Nicki Baby, I just love the way Minaj has been with all the best musicians. Her voice and the way she performs makes her more than just a singer or rapper. She has definitely defined her role in the RnB and HipHop sector.

August says all he wants is you, referring to a woman type figure that he wants but being confused going out with the wrong women when he has a good woman at home who cares and loves him.

So he says it as though a man shows no love to the woman who cares the most about him but when he would realize it, it might be too late, so it better to show love when the love is there. Nice song and i think you should listen to it.

Jamie foxx has one of most nicest voice in male singers i have ever heard off, I like the rhythm and the way he starts. Saying what are they doing, are they tryna’ settle down?

The question is a little bit awkward but you have to get the meaning of the song and what it means when a man found a woman that he cares so much about and would do anything to ensure both of them are together.

Jamie talks how a woman he met changed him. on the other hand you have Chris Brizzy, a.k.a. Chris Brown, doing his thing at most the usual thing. You remember the case between “Chris Brown and Rihanna” – Do you think it’s true or just some publicity stunt, either way in the music business you have to thrive in whatever way it could make the media hear more about even though it include beating a lady “So we heard” in Chris Brown’s own case. Anyway back to this song, as the name implies it changed me and how i look towards RnB songs these days. Listen to it bet you’ll love it.
