Netflix’s Line up of Anime / Cartoon Shows

If you’re using Netflix, you might have not noticed these line up of amazing Anime / Cartoon Shows that are so beautifully made, you just have to watch it. The Story line and plots would make you want to see more of it. So far most of them are on their Season 1 except for BoJack Horseman which has a sensical and dramatic plot that just keeps your eyes pealed to the screen.

  1. BoJack Horseman – Starring a BoJack, which is a has-been Super Star in the 90’s and how he rambles through his forgotten fame but still wants people to love him because that’s what he craves. Our main character is a drunk, womaniser and uses all the curse word known to man to express himself but deep down, he’s loving and wants to help others the best way he knows.BoJack-Horseman
  2. The Dragon Prince – Set in a medieval time, it tells of a war between the humans and the Elves along side the cause of a Dragon’s egg that was supposedly destroyed. Our story tells the tale of two young prince and an elf which struggles to save this give to stop the long going war. The Dragon Prince
  3. Paradise PD – Have you seen the Police Academy, this is not a story about that but one about a boy who’s dream was to become a cop, but his father who’s a cop disapproves of it but with long standing commitment and perseverance, he makes it as one of the cops in Paradise PD. unknown to them apart from him that there’s a villain amongst them who is also a cop. Paradise PD
  4. Dragon Pilot – Forget everything you knew about Fighter jets because those planes have been disguised for a long time. Yes, they are actually dragons disguised as planes. I kid you not, this is what happens in this Animated series, but it also tells the tale of a young woman who sees a creature and cares for it to bring praise and admiration for her team. Dragon Pilot
  5. Last Hope – When you think the world wouldn’t have another disaster that might bring it to the brink of extinction. well, this scientist might have just invested a new form of energy that went along aside to evolve the entire animal and plant species on earth making them a mixed species between machine and living matter. But there’s a plan to save the earth and bring it to a normal way of life, using another tech that phases through multiple dimensions. Last Hope

Batman Arkham Knight

I have always been a fan of the Arkham series and by far Arkham Knight is the best. It has all the elements that makes playing as Batman fun and realistic. Let’s start off with what made Gotham into what it is. Scarecrow unleashed his poisonous gas to the citizens of gotham and in a mass panic, the government decided to lock down Gotham to isolate the threat. Unknown to them that Scarecrow had a bigger plan which involves the Arkham Knight bringing para-military goons to the fight.

Luckily for Gotham city, they have a dark crusader of Justice “Batman” who is very well prepared for any threat. This is the first time in any Arkham series that you can be able to use the Bat-mobile more than anything. It has so many functions that just makes you feel more like Batman. The fighting mechanics changed a lot, batman is able to incorporate his gadget in the fights and now the smoke bomb can be triggered by a button in the sight of gunfire. I think the developers had it all planned out.

Not to forget, the story line and scenes are phenomenal, it’s clear, concise and the scene makes you feel more immense into the story-line as how you would do if watching or reading the comics. All I can say is that this game is by far the best Batman game out there, and surprisingly enough I only got to play the game this year on PS4. So if you have gotten it, go get it, its epic and awesome.

Altered Carbon

In a society whereby you can actually transfer conscientiousness to another body makes a whole lot of changes to the people living in it. Altered Carbon takes us to a Place in the near future where humans had actually explored the Cosmos and in its discovery came across a Technology they call “Stack Technology” which basically enabled them to prolong their lives so they can actually explore more galaxies and planets. So after acquiring such technology – knowing humans they have industrialize the technology for their own profits. Now conscientiousness resides on a computing device known as “Stacks” and the Human body merely became a “Sleeve” which can be worn by anybody with lots of money.

This bring us to our hero who’s name is Takeshi Kovacs (Joel Kinnaman) – when asked what kind of name is that, he mentioned my parents were Slovenian and Japanese. What a mixture, but Takeshi had only one mission which is to save his sister’s life Reileen (Dichen Lachman). He thought he did so by joining an Elite Interstellar group called the “Protectorate” which basically is a Para governmental group (CTAC) that roams the galaxy fighting criminals and rogue fractions. Let’s call them the FBI of the future. Fortunately Takeshi runs into his sister Rei on a Mission which forces both to turn against their organization and forces them to join a Rebel group commanded by  Quellcrist(Renee Elise Goldsberry). 

Long story short, Takeshi was later imprisoned for 250 years after being woken up, he was acquired by Laurens Bancroft(James Purefoy) who hired him to investigate his own Murder. which eventually Takeshi did but revealing other dangerous and criminal activity that is going on in their very own society which involved Bancroft and his very own sister caught up in the middle. At the end, he kills the person he has been trying to protect for over 300 years in order to save the future from destruction. I love the concept and the idea of the series, it depicts how humans will become if they live too long and what people will do for money. It talks about sexual inequality and the power it uses to enslave others. Lovely series one that I think everyone should watch, however it does contain a lot of sexual explicit content which might not be suitable for the young minds.

Bright

The way this Movie was hyped not only on Netflix but across the Movie broad, you would be like “Oh damn” this is the bomb or some sort of reference like that, however in this case some critics might say the movie was not that great or didn’t live to their expectations.

For some reasons which includes the graphics, story-line as well as the action, I did enjoy the movie albeit I only watched it once. Now you might be thinking, why would two police officers, one a rookie and the other a well experienced officer would actually collaborate to turn down a Magic Wand? To answer that question, Will Smith (scott ward) is a family man and nothing rings a bell to protecting his family which made him to decide that he needs the Magic Wand off his radar, if his family is to be safe. On the other hand Joel Edgerton (Nick Jakoby) is a man with Integrity, being the only Orc on the force wants to actually make a difference and he doesn’t need to be the reason why Orc’s in the future can’t be on the Police Force.

This battle ensues to a complicated issue between Street gangs, Magic Department of the FBI as well as Rogue Elf who seeks to reclaim the Magic Wand in order to resurrect the “Dark Lord”. This causes a enrage battle that runs the trail of the night and portrays a bond between two individuals of different races. I think one of the things to learn here would be how other’s perception of a different race affects one’s judgment towards an action. I love the movie and I think, if you haven’t watched it, you should it has great scenes and the story-line just makes sense.

Baby Driver

Now You maybe asking, what is it about Baby Driver, why would a Movie be named “Baby Driver”. The thing here is that, the movie is all about Robbery and how a Single man changed the entire concept of stealing and made it a consultant based effort. The entire movie is a Crime snippet and the whole thing about “Baby” is that he listens to music which kind of motivates him to do his job well.

Now his Boss (Kevin Spacey) does see it like that, he recruits random criminals to help him steal stuff at the end, they get some percentage of the pie. Jamie Foxx being one of the  bad guys in this movie, is very smart in detecting when something is not just right. After suspecting that Baby had an ulterior motive in the whole crime world.

He decides to invade “Baby’s” World and reek havoc to ensure that he is the best, as the show must go down, Baby device a   Plan to escape the Crime World and finally makes waive by killing everybody and then ended up serving for the crimes he had committed.

In the end, does he get the girl, definitely yes and it was good. Lovely movie something you must watch and see.

Spiderman – Homecoming

When you think you have seen it all, then comes another Spiderman movie and then you go again and say “Why oh Why” has there got to be another Spiderman in the mixture.

Well, Sony did an amazing thing to actually collaborate with the MCU team to make such an exciting movie, it was that it was too action pack but it just explained the Spiderman that we all have come to know in the Comics and in Cartoons.

Trust Tony Stark with his Braggadocio attitude (Robert Downey Jr)  at all times, teaming up with your friendly neighborhood hero Spidey (Tom Holland) to catch the notorious villain “The Vulture” acted by no other than the famous Knight in the 20th Century “Michael Keaton” – well you all did remember that he was the former cape crusader, the dark knight of Gotham?! if you didn’t well now you know.

Moving forward, the whole plot and how it relates to the whole Captain America : Civil War was outstanding, the MCU team just know how to work their magic everything delivery content that just want to make you part of the movie. The sweet part of it all was that, they quickly explained how the villains got their tech, who was designing it and how they manage to stay hidden perfecting it. It is and will be a wonderful movie to watch again, the jokes were funny and the scenes were just top notch.

Transformers – Last Knight

In my entire years to being a devoted Transformers watcher, believe  or not i was. I never experience such a pointless movie in my life. You know when ever you watch a movie that is not good, at least you know its not good and its just terrible. with Transformers Last Knight, you can’t even tell if the movie was terrible, they hide every scene with such a explosive nature, you are just caught up in it and can’t even complain.

To be honest, the movie was 80% pointless, the story line deviated from what we knew from the Transformers prequels and it didn’t just make sense anymore. The villains were outdated or not even powerful enough to battle our heroes. The Puns they were using were also lame, like i can’t just believe that Michael Bay really went this far. He even brought Stars such as Anthony Hopkins and Mark Wahlberg  and still messed up the movie.

The only thing i loved about the movie was just the explosion, you have to hand it over to Bays when it comes to explosion no one can make it better than him. If i had known the movie will suck this much, i wouldn’t even watch it. that’s how terrible i think it was. This just reminded me of that Will Smith Movie with his son what was it called? Yeah “After Earth” oh my goodness that movie sucked Big time, I almost left the cinema just had to calm myself down because it was the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Anyway you can wait for the Blu Ray to hit the market or you can just totally ignore that the movie actually came out, either way the choice is entirely up to you.
